Decisions are a daily part of our lives. We decide when to get up in the morning,

how well we will perform our work, how we treat our families and coworkers, how

we spend our time, and much more. These decisions affect not only the present

but also greatly impact our direction for the future. As men of God it is vital

that we keep on course!

Come join us for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of life. Enjoy fellowship with other believers, delicious food, fun activities, and a refreshing time in the Word of God.

Speaker Bio: Pastor Mike Sanders

Pastor Mike was born and raised in Michigan an hour north of Detroit. He entered ministry in 1993 as a youth pastor at his home church, Maranatha Baptist, where he served for eight years. In 2001 he and his family moved to SC to begin post-graduate education at Bob Jones University. During this time he taught at the university for five years and served part-time at Community Baptist Church for three years as an assistant pastor working with the teens and overseeing Christian education. In 2010 he began serving at Five Mile Baptist Church in Allegany, NY as lead pastor. He is committed to the expositional preaching of the Bible; cultivating a culture of discipleship that strives to fulfill the Great Commission; and building strong marriage, family, church, and community relationships.

He and his wife Michelle were married in 1995 and have four children: Hudson, Remington, Shelby, and Kenzie. As a family they enjoy most sports (especially soccer, volleyball, and skiing), camping, and playing board games.
